You know what this thing needs? Simple. A UI that can be installed on a user’s machine. I’ve been spoilt by LiveJournal. Sue me.

Right. So here goes this silly first post on friendster. I think friendster’s entry into the Blogging arena is stupid. It’s a way of getting ads across for income AND as well, a way of getting income. I mean WTF? Why would anyone pay $5 for the service? sheesh. Even LJ has a superb free blogging tool. And it’s open source too. sheesh.

Here’s the deal. I’m riding for Ride for Life 2005. It’s 500 clicks from KL to Singapore spread over 5 days. Gratia goes to the Bike Boutique (http://www.thebikeboutique.com) for sponsoring the bike. I’ve got the rough itinerary but! it still has to be confirmed. I’ll try to keep my blogs updated on this shite….but then I shut my initial LJ blog down….at least for the moment. Oh well we’ll see. I might just use this for pics..then again. photobucket allows direct importing of links to LJ. Hmm… who do I bother?
